OUR STORY
Connected by Our Butterflies
Collingwood Butterflies began with four mothers — whose paths crossed at a local support group after each of us experienced the devastating loss of a baby or babies. As we shared our stories, our babies, and the weight of our grief, we found comfort in one another. Though our experiences were different, we felt deeply connected by the same heartbreaking journey and the same need for understanding and community.
Together, we realized how many other families in the Collingwood and South Georgian Bay area were searching for that same connection — a place to feel seen, to remember, and to navigate life while carrying their butterflies close. Collingwood Butterflies was created from this shared hope: to offer a compassionate space where no one has to walk this path alone.
